ToInt16 Method (TdDecimal)

Converts the value of the specified TdDecimal into the equivalent Int16.

Parameters

input: The TdDecimal that is to be converted to a 16-bit signed integer.

Return Value

A 16-bit signed integer value that is equivalent to the TdDecimal is returned.

Exceptions

Exception	Description
TdException	The value is the TdDecimal is Null.
System.OverflowException	The TdDecimal could not be converted to Int16

Remarks

When a TdDecimal that has a TdDecimal.Scale greater than 0 is converted to a 16-bit signed integer the fractional part of the number will be truncated.
