Before upgrading to .NET Data Provider for Teradata version 16.20.4, please note this release includes two versions of the Teradata.Client.Provider assembly for:

• .NET Framework 4.5.2
• .NET Core 2.0

The following features are not available when using .NET Core:

• Configuration Files
• Performance Counters
• Entity Provider
• Only LDAP, TD2 and SPNEGO Authentication Mechanisms are available.

Also note that the setup and use of Logging and Tracing has changed with this release.
